John Oeltjen is a widely known and respected professional, offering more than 30 years of business leadership and consulting experience. He began his 20-year public accounting career with a “Big 4” firm, where he served as lead partner for the St. Louis Regional Middle Market practice, leading its rapid revenue growth and expansion. John also holds 12 years of experience in the private sector, where his titles included President, Chief Operating Officer and part owner in various manufacturing and distribution businesses that saw significant increases in operational profitability under his watch.

Today, John’s areas of concentration include risk assurance and attestation services, corporate strategic planning, operational efficiency, cost accounting and operational controls. John’s professional expertise also includes merger and acquisition activities, information systems, corporate expansion and personnel related issues.

John is an active member of numerous professional, civic and charitable organizations.

John is a graduate of SIU-Edwardsville with a degree in Business Administration-Accounting. He received the Silver Medal for the 1975 Uniform CPA Examination.
